Paktahn 0.8.1 release candidate

Hi folks,

Paktahn 0.8.1 is ready but has only been tested by me, so here’s a prerelease for you to run and help find bugs:

http://viridian-project.de/~sky/paktahn/rc/paktahn-0.8.1-1-i686.pkg.tar.gz

Changes:

* package removal support
* support for provider packages
* support reinstallation of packages
* throw an error when the user attempts to build an AUR package as root

You’ve already been very supportive with your feedback for 0.8! Thanks!

    Leslie,

    This is pretty awesome and I look forward to using it in place of Yaourt. Out of curiosity, when is the SBCL patch supposed to work it’s way downstream? Will it be in 1.0.32?

    Thanks for the praise! :)

    I’ve already answered your question in #lisp, but here it is for all other people:

    I’m determined to get the fixed RUN-PROGRAM into SBCL upstream, but I’m still waiting for someone to apply it or comment on it.

    It should get in eventually, but maybe not into 1.0.32…
